Ogun State NSCDC Commandant visits MAPOLY

It was a great honour to receive Mr. Hammed Abodunrin, the gallant State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ogun State Command Headquarters, Abeokuta, on a courtesy visit to the Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.

Commandant Abodunrin disclosed that the visitation was for commendation, familiarization and to assure the Management of a robust collaboration for proper sensitization on security/defence awareness for the institution’s stakeholders as part of the key cardinal projects being embarked upon by the Command.

He proposed that Security and Self Defense should be included in the academic curricula which will handle proper awareness as technical preparation for societal ravaging issues such as rape, kidnapping etc.

In his response, the Ag. Rector, Dr.Adeoye Odedeji, sincerely expressed his gratitude for the gesture of the State Commandant and described him as an embodiment of positive transformation.

Dr. Odedeji said “this visitation will revalidate our hope in security consciousness for the safety of our Staff, Students and by extension immediate community and society at large”.

DCC. Taye Awoyade, HoD, PCNAI; ACC. Fatai Yahaya, Area Commander Ogun Central “A”; SC. Oludotun F. Ayoola, D.O (Oba Division); ASCI Dyke Ogbonnya, State PRO; ASCII Ahmad Adetoro and ASCII Victor Adejuwon were among the officers in the Commandant’s entourage.

The Registrar, Mr. Emmanuel Adeleye and the Bursar, Mr. Fatai Yekini FCA were present to receive the visitors.
