Public Relations and Protocol

AJIBOLA OLUYEMI OLALEKAN was born on 17th November, 1965 at Igan-Okoto, Yewa North Local Government area of Ogun State.

He attended Egbado High School, Igbogila 1984 – 1985, Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta)1986 -1991, Lagos State University, Lagos, 2006 – 2008.

He holds the following qualifications: SC/WAEC (1985), Ordinary National Diploma (1988) Higher National Diploma (1991) Master in Communication Studies (2010)

He joined the services of Ogun State Polytechnic now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta in 1999 as Higher Executive Officer, Public Relations Unit and by dint of hard work, he rose through the ranks to the status of Chief Executive Officer.

Before joining the service of the Polytechnic in 1999, Ajibola had worked at Yewa North Local Government, Ayetoro as Elected Councilor/Supervisor Councilor for Health (1997 – 1998), Kuto Community Bank Ltd, Abeokuta as Credit/Marketing Officer (1993 – 1997), Risonpalm Ltd PH Rives State (NYSC) Public Affairs Department (1991 – 1992), The Punch Nigeria Ltd Onipetesi, Lagos
(One Year Attachment) Editorial Department (1988 – 1989).

He is a member of the following professional bodies: Member, Institute of Corporate Administration (2014) Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (2001) Member, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (2009)

He is happily married with glorious children.
