Centre for Part Time and Diploma Programmes

The Centre for Part Time Programmes was established in July 2001 by the Academic Board. It took off in September 2001 with about 5,000 students and had Mr. Kola Hassan as the pioneer Director.

 

The centre runs programmes on part-time basis in all the courses that are approved by the NBTE as full-time courses. These include courses in Business & Management Studies, Science & Technology, Environmental Studies, Engineering, and Communication & Information Technology.

Mr. Adeoye David ODEDEJI

Designation: Principal Lecturer

 

Mr. Adeoye Odedeji was born on 14th January, 1963 at Igan-Alade, Yewa North Local Government area of Ogun State. He attended Ketu College, Igan-Alade between 1977 and 1982, University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolow University), Ile-Ife between 1983 and 1987, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife between 1988-1989, Lagos City Computer College, Ikeja, Lagos 1993, National Teachers Institute, Kaduna between 2007 and 2008, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta 1999 to date. He holds the following qualifications: SC/WAEC (1982), B.Sc (Hons) Sociology & Anthropology (1987), M.Sc Sociology & Anthropology (1989), Diploma in Computer Science (1993), Post-graduate Diploma in Education (2007). At present, he is currently undergoing doctoral programme in Rural Sociology at Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

 

He had worked with National Orientation Agency, Federal Ministry of Information, Abeokuta as Mobilisation Officer I between 1990 and 1996.

He joined the services of the Polytechnic in 1996 as Lecturer II. By dint of hard work, he rose through the ranks to the status of Principal Lecturer in 2010.

He has several books and eighteen (18) publications to his credit.

He is currently the Director of Centre for Part Time and Diploma Programmes of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
