The Ogun State Honorable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu has congratulated the Rector, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Arc. Dr. ‘Koye Jolaoso as the first Alumnus of the Institution to mount the position.
Prof. Arigbabu, during a courtesy visit of the Management of the Polytechnic to his office at Oke-mosan, said, Arc. Jolaoso possesses the goodwill to make positive changes in his alma mater by hitting the ground running with laudable feats within 30 days.
According to him “you have what we call 30-60-90 days action plans with strategic demonstration and delivery”
He added that “as an alumnus, I’m sure you will be determined to make the Institution better than it was when you were a student, better than it was when you started as a Staff and better than it is now as you assumed office”.
Earlier, while briefing the host of his achievements in 30 days, Dr. Jolaoso disclosed that the public power supply, which had been long grounded, has been fixed to the full benefits of the Polytechnic.
He noted that the restoration of light has enabled seamless flowing of water across strategic locations in the Polytechnic.
Similarly, he said, the Management has completed full installation of solar power facilities from the school gate to the Administrative Building in its light up MAPOLY agenda.
Dr. Jolaoso reiterated his optimism to attract investors with the provisions of fundamental yardsticks and enabling environment for development.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Mariam Oloko alongside other Directors in the Ministry, the Deputy Rector, Dr Mrs Yetunde Lanre-Iyanda: the Registrar, Mrs Olubunmi Elewodalu; the Polytechnic Librarian, Mrs. Basirat Akintunde and the Bursar, Mrs. Folasade Madariola FCA were in attendance.
